Meerendonk receives AEO status
Authorised Economic Operator (AEO) A Recognition of Quality, Vision, Perseverance, but above all trustworthiness.
Today 16th april Meerendonk has received as one of the first dutch logistical service providers the highly desired AEO certificate. During a festive ceremony in Rotterdam the Tax Administration, represented by mr. W. Rovers has awarded Meerendonk with the AEO status
The AEO certificate is an internationally recognised quality mark which tells people that Meerendonk’s role in the international supply chain is secure, and that their customs control and procedures are efficient and compliant. With an AEO certificate Meerendonk is considered a reliable partner. AEO status is for business that are actively involved in customs operations and international trade. With the official AEO status the enterprise Meerendonk receives acces to simplified customs procedures and benefits as:
- less physical and documents controls
- priority with physical checks
- checks at preferred locations
Modern inspection means reduce logistics delays for these flows of goods at the outdoor borders of the European Union
It goes without saying that in times where delivery, reliability is a complex daily routine the AEO status is of the greatest importance.
